A Survey on the Knowledge, Attitude & Practice of Family Planning in a Partial Region Fertile Women

Abstract
|
|
|
This study is executed for a month form 25th, April to 30th, inlay in 1977. The object of study is the 125 fertile women living in Suncheon City of Junrannmdo. The result of this analysis is as follows.
1. a) The knowledge ratio of the term family planning: 100%.
b) The knowledge ratio of the family planning method: 99.2%.
c) The knowledge ratio of the management place of family planning: 90.4%. So the general knowledge ratio of the family planning is shown as 96.5%.
2. a) The agreement ratio of the issue, "Have a few babies without distinction of sex": 86.4%.
b) The acceptance ratio of the family planning method: 47.2%.
c) The trust ratio of the management place of family planning: 78.4%.
So the general agreement attitude of family planning is shown as the ratio
of 70.7%.
3. a) The ratio of the practical experience of family planning: 81.6%.
b) The ratio of executing family planning up to now: 66%. Among this ratio, the 27.5% women are trying to adapt themselves to this planning, and the 72.5% women are well adapted.
4. Among the whole object women, 46.6% women are executing the family planning and well adapted at the same time.
